Suitable for beginners, this course will teach all the basic techniques of Edge Painting on Chrome Tanned Leather, also called Astiquage.
On Vegetable Tanned Leather, the way you finish your edges is different, you can burnish them. But in Chrome Tanned Leather, Edge Paint is a key phase for the final look of your leather items.
You will learn the process of applying 3/4 layers of Edge paint, sanding and heat/smooth with Fileteuse / heated creaser.
